Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a coffee cart cost in Houston?
Packages start at $600 (Signature: up to 60 guests, 2 hours of service), $1,190 (VIP: 70–140 guests, 2–3 hours) and $1,275 (Luxury: 150+ guests, 3–4 hours). What events does Cool Beans Coffee Cart cater?
Weddings, corporate events, private parties, school and church events, and markets & pop-ups throughout the Greater Houston Area — including Katy, The Woodlands, Sugar Land, Cypress, Galveston and Spring.
What drinks do you serve?
Handcrafted lattes, cappuccinos, americanos, cold brew, iced and shaken espresso drinks, specialty flavors like vanilla, caramel and lavender, plus teas, hot chocolate, matcha, chai, energy drinks, Italian sodas, lemonades and steamers. Every menu is customized to your event.
How does booking work?
Tell us about your event, and we send a custom quote within 1 business day. A 30% deposit at signing secures your date; the balance is due 10 days before the event. Then we show up, set up and serve.
How far in advance should we book?
As early as you can — spring and fall wedding weekends and the holidays fill first. Events booked with 5 or fewer days' notice carry a 15% rush charge, so reaching out early also saves money.
What does the cart need from our venue?
A level space about 6 feet by 6 feet, access to two separate 15-amp circuits (up to 1,800 watts total), and a place to park and unload. Above the first floor we need a working elevator. No power outdoors? We bring a silent inverter generator — just tell us when you book.
How long do you serve?
Signature includes 2 hours of service, VIP 2–3 hours and Luxury 3–4 hours. Set-up and tear-down are included in every package and happen outside your service window.
Do you have dairy-free and non-coffee options?
Yes. Every package includes at least one milk alternative (two with VIP, two or more with Luxury), and the menu has matcha, chai, teas, hot chocolate, Italian sodas, lemonades and steamers. Tell us about allergies when you book and we'll plan the menu around them.
Are custom cup labels included?
Custom cup labels with your names, wedding date or company logo are available on every package. Ask for them in your quote and we'll design and print them before the event.
Do you travel outside Houston?
Yes. From our Spring home base we serve 28 areas across Greater Houston — from Galveston and League City to The Woodlands, Katy and Fulshear — and travel is included in our packages. Other locations on request.
What happens if it rains or our plans change?
The cart sets up indoors or outdoors, so most events simply move under cover. If you need to reschedule, we'll work with you on a new date subject to availability. Cancellations with at least 7 days' notice receive a 50% refund; see our Terms for details.
Are you insured?
Yes — Cool Beans Coffee Cart carries general liability insurance. If your venue needs a certificate of insurance, mention it when you book and we'll take care of it.
